Bodil Manz ceramicist and designer
Bodil Manz is a Danish ceramist who has made a name for himself on the international art scene for his aesthetically pleasing ceramic works. She was born in 1943 and graduated from the School of Crafts in 1965.
After his education, Bodil Manz met the German-born potter and tile stove maker Richard Manz, who had emigrated to Sweden in 1954. The couple later married, and their shared interest in ceramics led to a fruitful collaboration.
Bodil Manz is known for his minimalist expression and ability to create simple, yet complex ceramic works. Her unique style has made her one of the most sought after ceramicists in Denmark
