Iron – a raw material with tradition and future
Iron is the foundation of much of what we produce. It is a robust and versatile material that requires large amounts of raw materials and heat to process. But most importantly, it requires an approach that values both quality and sustainability.
Iron has been used for hundreds of years, and there are therefore already large quantities in circulation. We have chosen to use iron from Denmark. This is not only sensible because we avoid transporting heavy raw materials from other countries – it is also sustainable, as iron can be recycled over and over again. When you produce products like ours, you have to do it right from the start.

We have full control over the alloys and ensure that our castings can last for more than 100 years. For us, it is not about making disposable products, but about creating timeless designs that are both functional and aesthetically beautiful. Good design is design that lasts – in both quality and style.
That's why we collaborate with talented designers who understand how to make products that are both durable and decorative in the home. Our goal is to create objects that are not only used, but also appreciated. Products that find their place in the home and in the family - and that can follow several generations.
When we develop something new, we take the design process very seriously. It takes time, thought and thoroughness because we know that our products become a part of the family's life as soon as they come through the door. With the durability we work with, they become a part of not only this generation, but also many generations to come.
